Founder of ICmark
With almost twenty years of experience in CMOS RFIC-design, and a background in both electrical engineering and (technical) computer science, Mark delivers innovative and robust solutions to make every project a success. With his technical expertise and eye for detail, no problem is too big. He has been the chair of the Analog committee at the Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC) and fulfilled editor-roles at the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits and IEEE Solid-State Circuit Letters. He is currently in the RF/mmWave section of the European Solid-State Electronics Research Conference (ESSERC) and is Senior Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs. The more difficult the challenge, the more he is in his element. That is why in 2026 he decided, next to his appointment as Associate Professor in IC Design (with a focus on wireless communications) at the University of Twente, to found ICmark and even better share his knowledge and expertise with others.
